A studio that makes its own software.

N. Walser is an independent software studio in St. Gallen. We program three apps, tabls, Themia and Gloomia, and nothing else.

The studio grew out of years programming software where a mistake didn't just throw an error, it stopped a production line. That background shapes how we work: we design for the edge cases, not around them.

We pointed that at our own products instead of client projects. It means we decide what gets programmed, we can say no to a feature that would only serve a business model, and nobody gets to ask us for an account screen.

tabls is a workspace for data you define yourself. Themia puts more than forty widgets on your Windows desktop. Gloomia turns your wallpaper into something alive. Three different problems, one set of rules: your machine, your data, one price.

Across all three the principle is the same: software that meets the real world and holds up, and that actually ships.
